The form is extremely quick and easy to make, using readily available materials which cost almost nothing. The original doll was knitted in DK (Double Knitting) and 4 ply yarns but includes instructions for using different yarns.

My maid is a mature lady with grey hair. You could make yours with any colour of hair or skin. The hat and apron are removable.

The completed doll is approximately 30cm (12”) tall; the jewelry compartment is more than 16cm (6.5”) high. Only the head and arms are stuffed.
