Simple half-circle shawlette in garter stitch, with optional ruffle. The original one that I knit in handspun gray mohair reminded me of summer thunderheads: floaty, shape-changing, tumbling in the sky.

It’s simple to knit and easy to wear, either as a shawl or scarf.

The pattern is available four ways:

  1. the original pattern is on my blog, ever green knits
  2. in the book, My Grandmother’s Knitting
  3. as a Ravelry download
  4. in French translation is on lapelote’s blog, aufildesenvies
