This interestingly textured cowl contrasts a broad braid with graphic lines. The cowl is knit in bulky yarn on comparatively small needles to avoid too much drape and make it wind proof. You can easily add repeats to turn it into a scarf.

The cowl is worked back and forth with a provisional cast on. It needs to be grafted at the end.

Gauge as given above is only a rough guide, since measuring gauge in cable patterns is not easy. As long as you use a bulky or chunky yarn you’ll be fine.

The pattern is charted and has been test knitted.

The pattern file is 2 pages wih one colour photo.
