With the Rhinebeck Sheep and Wool Festival around the corner and knitters in a frenzy to complete their “Rhinebeck sweater”, we thought why not design a more bite-sized project that can be completed a week or two before the festival (for those of us who waited until the last minute). We have always said that handknit socks are basically sweaters for your feet. So, we’re hoping that you will join us in embracing a new tradition of the “Rhinebeck sock”! The pattern has clean straight lines down the length of the sock created by the stitch pattern repeat. We think of it as a traditional sock with pizazz!

Thank you for your interest in our pattern. We hope that you enjoy knitting it as much as we did making it. Share your progress and final hand knit on social media using #WKTStraightontoRhinebeck and tag @weknittogether. We want to admire your work!
