These cosy stranded mittens feature three different diamond motifs, as well as latvian braids and corrugated ribbing in the cuff. Experience with stranded colourwork, mitten construction, and reading charts is recommended. Written instructions provided for the latvian braids.

This yarn used in the original mittens is discontinued. Although it was marketed as aran weight, light worsted or dk would be a more appropriate substitute. Main colour requires approximately 55g; 35g of contrast colour.

Pattern as written will fit an average woman’s hand;19cm hand circumference, 19cm from top braid to finger tips. Size may be adjusted using gauge.
