Our LYS Day 2021 pattern, the Strawberry Fields Shawl combines Tempe’s (The Warm Ewe) design talent and Terri’s (Whole Knit ‘n’ Caboodle) yarn magic. The shawl uses two skeins of WKNC Woo-Light in our LYS Day colorway. Garter stitch highlights the variegated colors in the yarn at the top of the shawl, followed by a stockinette and slipped stitch transition into the border. The slipped stitches line up with the center of each Feather and Fan repeat along the border to draw your eye outward.

This pattern is great for variegated yarns, but will look equally great in semi-solid or solid colored yarns.

Yarn used: 2 skeins Whole Knit ‘n’ Caboodle Woo-Light (100% superwash merino, 448 yards, 409 meters) or approximately 725 yards fingering weight yarn.
