This lovely crescent shawl combines garter stitch and easy lace to create a beautiful, lightweight accessory out of one precious skein of fingering weight yarn in your favourite colour.

The different sections and textures make this pattern fun to knit. The finished shawl is a beautiful everyday item, which is cosy & easy to wear during the warmer season.

Both fully written out as well as charted instructions are provided.

YARN
Designed for a single skein of fingering weight yarn. Allow approx. 380 yards/350 meters to get the size of the sample. The pattern is easily adjustable to the yardage you have available.
Yarn used for sample:
Colour Adventures Cloud Sock (fingering weight, 115g = 378yds/346m), 1 skein in colourway Mauve

GAUGE & NEEDLES
Not critical for this project but differences will affect yardage requirements and the finished size.
Gauge on sample: 18 sts x 36 rows = 10x10cm/4x4“ in garter stitch after blocking
Needles used for sample: 4 mm / US 6
