What am I missing?
Strawberry Moon
Strawberry Moon is constructed from tip to tip with a garter stitch body and a lace edge that is knit as you go. The lace edge has little scallops that are reminiscent of ripe berries. Delicate picot loops finish off the scalloped edge.
The pattern includes both written and charted instructions. The pattern also includes instructions to alter the size of the shawl depending on the yardage of your yarn. The finished size of the pattern sample is 60 in (152 cm) wide by 12 in (30.5 cm) deep.
Skills required: basic knitting skills, knit front and back, knit 2 together, yarn overs. Instructions for working a cluster 8 stitch, to create the scallop, are included in the pattern.
This pattern has been test knit by my wonderful group of test knitters and professionally tech edited by Katherine Vaughan.
Pictures were taken at Ritter Park Rose Garden in Huntington, West Virginia.
