About this Pattern
Named after Sweet Georgia Yarn’s vibrant “Strawberry Tea” colourway, and worked in their beautiful Flaxen Silk Lite, this playful tank top has so much going for it. A lace hem (with bobbles!), A-line shaping, a deep V-neck, and integrated ribbing around the armholes, all offset the simplicity of the stockinette body. This sweet tank is swingy and drapey; the perfect piece to wear on those warm summer nights, or for layering under your favourite hand-knit cardigan or shawl.

Difficulty: Intermediate

Skills used
Lace knitting, applied I-cord, German short-rows, single and double basic decreases.

Pattern Notes:
The Strawberry Tea tank starts with a lace hem, and is worked seamlessly from the bottom-up. Decreases give the body its gentle A-line shape, and German short-rows add a hint of extra length to the back. Armholes and neck are worked with a selvedge of ribbing and are later finished with an applied I-cord for structure.
