A light and lovely quick knit, and quite forgiving in fit as it’s so stretchy! Knit in cotton or linen for the summer, or in wool or wool blend to wear over a long sleeved top or shirt for cooler months. I developed this pattern to use up a limited quantity of Jaipur yarn, and just kept knitting the lower garter knit band until I had just enough yarn to finish the bind off!
Knitted in the round from the top down, makes it easy to fit as you go. You can vary where and how many hip increases are done after the waist, depending on your individual size and shape, and decide on the finished length as you knit
