These shorts are perfect for festivals or beachwear and summer fun. Very easy to make, you will need a knowledge of Front Post and Back Post Treble (US Double) crochet stitches for waistband. They are designed the be fitted to the maker’s individual size, and clear ways to measure are included, as are photographs throughout.

I used Stylecraft Special DK for these shorts and a 3.5mm hook, but you can use any similar yarn and corresponding hook size as you work to your own measurements. I used less than a skein of each colour to complete the shorts. Gauge is not important as the maker works to their own measurements.
