This baby blanket is made up of a series of stripes in stocking stitch with a moss stitch border and a broad mid section with a BABY motif in reverse stocking stitch.

I have chosen this fabulous 100% cotton yarn by Erika Knight for softness and warmth without the irritation of wool based yarns on sensitive baby skin.

There will be sufficient yarn left over to make a coordinating washcloth and I have included for free a BONUS pattern with each purchase of the blanket pattern. The washcloth is soft and kind to babies like the blanket, but equally useful for adults and especially fo removing make up.

Both the washcloth and blanket can be machine washed up to 40 degrees. I do not recommend tumble drying.
