My daughter refuses to sleep with her arms swaddled in the blanket, and her hands get SO cold at night – so I decided to make her some mitts. Of course, I finished these just as she discovered that she can suck her thumb….

These are a simple mitt knit in the round with a worsted weight yarn on size 2 double pointed needles. Because you use such a small needle with a worsted weight yarn - the mitts will be quite warm.

You can easily make a larger size of these mitts by increasing the number of cast-on stitches. Have fun playing with the colors and width of stripes!
