Simple hat features a garter stitch band and stockinette stitch cap. Suitable for beginner knitters.

Patons Angora Bamboo (discontinued)
(50 g / 1.75 oz) (73 m / 80 yds)

Main Color: 2 balls (160 yards)
plus 1 ball each of 3 contrast colors (80 yards each)
4 colors, 5 balls total

Suggested colors:

  • Brandy Wine, Sienna Bronze, Flamenco, Tawny
  • Indigo, Low Tide, Laurel Leaf, Echinaceea

Size 4 mm (U.S. 6) and 4.5 mm (U.S. 7) knitting needles.

Hat is worked flat, then finished with back seam.

Ed. note: Hat may be worked in the round by more experienced knitters.
