Striped Elf Hat
This pattern can be made with one 50 gram ball of fingerling weight wool. It’s much cuter if the hat is a little big (its a little small as shown on my son, but I’ve adjusted the pattern so that it should fit a 12 month old). Unlike the other pixie hats I’ve seen in 2x2 ribbing, this one is worked in the round, so it will create its own circular stripes if done with a striping yarn. I hope you enjoy this quick knit.
Check out the newest version in worsted/heavy worsted yarn! It’s called the Worsted Weight Elf Hat, in my Ravelry store. Available in newborn, infant and toddler sizes.
