Pattern Notes:
The linen yarn tends to torque when knit in stockinette stitch, and so to give the garment a little bit more structure, it is knit flat and seamed. The neck is shaped with a few short rows to add a little more ease when taking the sweater on and off. After the front and back are completed, the sleeves are picked up and knit onto the body, thus joining the shoulders. The length measurements are given in rows to keep the stripe pattern consistent. Because of this, it is important to pay attention to your rows/inch gauge.

Sweater Measurements:
18 (20, 22)” 45.75 (50.75, 56) cm finished measurement around chest
Directions for the 18” 45.75cm size are written first, with directions for the larger sizes in parentheses.

Materials:
1 (1, 2) skein(s) Euroflax Sport Weight Linen (100 grams, 270 yards) in Main Color (MC); 1 skein Euroflax Sport Weight Linen (100 grams, 270 yards) in Contrasting Color (CC)

Gauge:
Gauge measures 26 sts and 42 rows over 4” 10cm in st st, using larger needles. To measure gauge, cast on 30 sts, and work approximately 4.5” 11.5cm in st st. Bind off, wash swatch in warm water, and lay flat to dry. Measure sts/inchcm and rows/inchcm.
Take time to accurately measure your gauge!
