This blanket is worked as a single panel and is knit on the bias. After the center panel is complete, stitches are picked up around the four edges of the piece. Garter stitch and Fair Isle bands worked in the round frame the center panel and form the border of the blanket. Garter stitch triangles knitted from the border stitches complete this flying carpet.
