A striped scarf will always be fashionable: it’s a timeless classic. But that doesn’t mean it can’t have a twist in its tail—this one cleverly manages to have stripes across the scarf on one side, and along the length on the other!

Each row is knit with just one color, the vertical stripes are achieved with slipped stitches, as well as the neat slipped-stitch edge. To adjust the width of the scarf, increase or decrease by multiples of 4 stitches.

Mosaic pattern is written and charted.
