Striped basic tee with eyelet edgings to dress it up a bit. This hand knit striped tshirt has a jewel neckline with single button closure at the back. It is knitted in the round up to the armholes. Set-in sleeves.

Any yarn which produces gauge will work. I used a soft fingerweight cotton with a lightweight drape similar to interlock knit jersey.

Knit gauge in Stockinette Stitch (knit 1 row, purl 1 row) is 7 stitches and 11 rows per inch on Size 3 US needles. This is a stable gauge, and if cotton is used, it will not stretch out of shape (or grow, as happens when gauge is too loose).
