Striped Simplicity
This pattern was originally published as part of Twisted’s 2012 Hot Holiday Knits!
This is an easy, fun project, allowing you to mix and match color combos and highlight the beauty of a very special yarn. Grab two skeins today, and get knitting!
Yarn – 275 yards sport-weight yarn in main color (mc). 191 yards of contrasting color (cc). Shown in Mirasol Nuna (60% merino wool, 40% silk & 20% bamboo; 191 yards/50 gram hank), Cacao (mc) and Turquoise (cc).
Gauge - 22 stitches = 4” in stockinette stitch. Measured after blocking.
Needles – 32” circular US #5/3.75mm or size to get gauge.
Notions - Tapestry needle, stitch marker.
Skill level - Advanced beginner (knitting in the round, slipped stitches).
Size/Finished measurements - One size fits most. 60” circumference, 9.5” tall. Measured after blocking.
