These cuddly anteaters stand at approx 2.5 inches tall and 7 inches long from snout to tail. They are made using single crochet only, and there’s very little sewing required to construct the finished toy. I would recommend using thread to embroider the eyes rather than safety eyes. The snout needs to be narrow enough to snuffle up those juicy ants, so safety eyes are less suitable than embroidery as the nose isn’t quite broad enough.

Make them either with, or without, a stripey jumper depending on how cold it is outside!
