Lace has both text and chart directions.

A patchwork of chevron lace and garter stitch squares come together to form a dramatic stole, just as all the stalls come together to create the wonders of the souk. Worked in three colors of Findley DK as separate squares, this project travels well and can be assembled in blocks of color (as shown), in long stripes, or in a busy patchwork—knitter’s choice!
