Strolling Along Shawl

A light, lacy shawl to pop over your shoulders to ward off a cool day, or to provide some warmth during an evening stroll. A beautiful large button secures the shawl in place.

This is an unusual design, as it uses CHUNKY and SOCK-weight yarns, yet the same hook.

The chunky yarn forms a frame around the light, lacy panels, giving structure and additional interest to this design.

The other interesting thing about this garment, is the shape of the back of the shawl.

This is a slightly challenging garment to crochet, but well worth the time and effort spent.

Requirements:
Approx 350m 4ply(AU) / fingering / #2 weight yarn
Approx 115m 14ply(AU) / chunky / #5 weight yarn
Yarn needle
Crochet Hook: 9.0mm (M)
A large, beautiful button to close.
