These fingering weight stranded mittens have a repeating motif taken from an art deco railway station in Philadelphia. They start with twisted rib and have a thumb gusset with the pattern centred on the thumb. There is also a matching hat which is part of the e-book set.

Materials:

~50g (200yds/183m) fingering weight yarn in dark color
~50g (200yds/183m) fingering weight yarn in light color
US1.5/2.5mm dpns (or size to get gauge)
waste yarn
tapestry needle for weaving in ends

The sample used approximately 26g of Black Bear (black) and 36g of Paw Paw (yellow) in O-Wool O-Wash Fingering.

There is a discount for the set, but don’t worry! If you get the mittens & decide you need the hat later, the discount for the set will be automatically applied.
