Pattern clarification
The instruction for Row 2 of the stitch pattern (in the box on page 208) is “Repeat Row 1.” Note that for the very first pattern repeat only, the “Row 1” to repeat is the one in the stitch pattern box, not the Row 1 that was just worked from the main pattern instructions.
