The Sugar Plum Knitted Triangular Shawl, is a traditional, triangular-shaped shawl with lace motifs that I designed. I am also selling the finished product you see in the pictures under a listing on my site at Etsy.com at LemonDropInn. This plum-colored shawl I have worked in a soft 100 percent fine pima cotton yarn (Cascade Ultra Pima Fine in the shade of Syrah), but you can use any fine weight yarn you would like with varying effects. The body of the shawl features cascades of swirling sugar plums, while the border graduates into a faux-cabled scalloped lace trim. The shawl’s design is lightweight, and can be worn in many different ways, It is machine washable separately on a delicate cycle, pin back to shape and lay out flat to dry. The pattern includes both chart and written instructions.
