Hit the right note with this versatile cozy poncho in Cascade Cantata- wear it with the straight side in the front or twist it for more coverage.

The knitting starts off with a striped garter triangle using two contrast yarn colors in alternating stripes. The center “seam” of the triangle is a slip stitch at the center. Each side of your triangle is worked with stockinette rows with a little bit of shaping; then join each of your pieces together with a three needle bind off. You will pick up stitches along each bottom edge for 2x2 ribbing. The neckline is picked up last and knit on the round, topped off with an I-cord bind off.

Materials: Come in both size Sm/Med and Lg/XL
5 or 6 skeins of Cascade Cantata: 3 (4) skeins MC, 1 skein each of the contrast colors

Needles:
Size 9 circular needles in 24” and 40” lengths (or size to obtain gauge, plus one size smaller for the neck)
plus size 8 in 16” circular for the neck
