This vibrant shawl knit with new Malabrigo Verano, a nice and soft cotton yarn that is actually nice to knit with. A great late summer knit that you can wear into fall.

The chevron uses some new decrease and increase techniques and is paired with a lattice pattern.

The chevron pattern uses the Showy Decrease, a simple change to a standard decrease that adds texture and clean lines. The knit 1 back & front increase (vs. front & back) practically disappears in the surrounding garter. You can read more about it in the blog announcement.

The pattern is available for free at Jimmy Beans Wool.

They have also put together kits in a variety of colorways for you to choose from.
