The crib cover is made in fresh summer colours in 4 ply/fingering weight cotton in a textured granny square pattern. Each square measures approximately 8cm, so the crib cover is approximately 56cm x 48cm, (22 x 19 inches) including edge, when finished. The gauge is not crucial.
You will need one 50gm ball each of 6 colours and 2 of the edge colour if you are using DMC Natura Cotton. You will have some of each ball left over, so the blanket could be made larger if you like.
