Summer Flirt Skirt
Have you ever wanted to knit a skirt but didn’t because it seem so much work? Well, how about a swingy, flirty summer skirt that is knit at a 4 sts/1” gauge? The skirt features 4 very pretty lace panels and increases are worked throughout the skirt for an A-line figure flattering shape.
The skirt is worked from the top down, thus it can be tried on throughout the knitting in order to get the perfect fit.
Sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL)
Waist/Hip measurements
XS - 30/39”
S - 32/41”
M - 34/43”
L - 36/48”
XL - 38/50”
2XL - 40/52”
3XL - 44/54”
4XL - 46/56”
Length: 26” - but the length is adjustable since it is worked from the top-down.
Gauge: 16 sts/4”
Yarn: Worsted or Aran weight yarn - 800 (900, 1000, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400, 1500) yards
I used:
Loop-d-Loop New Birch (64% cotton, 35% silk)(98 yds/88 m, 1.75oz/50g) – 9 (10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16) skeins.
Yardage depends on desired overall skirt length, yardage provided is for a 26” long skirt.
