I LOVE to knit in the summer but struggle to find any patterns that are whether appropriate. This year round knit it perfect to fit long hair into or to wear as a beret/tam style. Even in the winter it can be nice to not have the need to remove your hat.. especially in hat hair situations. It’s really nice to wear the latest baggy style without having to feel the weight on your head.

This would be a very easy pattern for a knitters first hat worked in the round. It’s also a great first lace pattern! The stitches are all very basic but leave an impressive result.
