This Summer Leaf Poncho is knit in two identical pieces with simple but interesting pattern details. Two shoulder seams are sewn and adjustable for a wider or closer neckline. A cool easy style to wear all summer long over jeans, khakis or capris or wear it as a beach cover up.

The pattern is written not charted.
Use stitch markers to help designate the various stitch patterns.
Centre leaf panel has a ten row repeat while the side panels have an eight row repeat. Keep track with two separate row counters.
Six large wooden buttons are needed to sew on top of side borders. No buttonholes are required.
