This easy pattern produces a lightweight scarf that shows off all the gorgeous hues in your favorite multicolored yarn in a wavy stitch that reminds me of summer rainstorms in a flower garden.

Using several needle sizes keeps the elongated stitches neat and makes the scarf completely reversible.

YARN: 1 Hank variegated or painted fingering or sock weight yarn.

Suggested yarn: PAINTS in Heritage, Heritage 150, or Heritage Silk from Cascade Yarns. Here: Heritage Paints in Color 9692 Dahlia

NEEDLES: You will need 3 sizes of needles, but the exact sizes are not crucial. Using the larger needle options will give you a slightly wider, longer scarf. But any mix of needle sizes will work.
SMALL needles: # 0, 1 or 2
MEDIUM needles: # 3, 4 or 5
LARGE needles: # 13, 15 or 17

FINISHED DIMENSIONS: ~ 6.5 “ wide by ~ 40” long.
