Small crocheted and embroidered adorable baby toy: soft, crinkle and funny.

The owl is perfect for:

a) the first grasping exercises due to its size, texture and funny sound,
b) the fist visual exercises due to its contrast colours,
c) teething

Materials you will need:

Cotton yarn in fingering weight or cotton blend yarn with bamboo/silk for belly and head. You can use any fingering yarn for the stripes. The more textures the are using the more interesting it is going to be for the baby;
Thin color threads for the nose and eyes;
Crochet hook 2,5 mm;
Sewing needle (big enough to put the fingering yarn through it);
Removable stitch marker or threads in contrast color;
Cotton or polyester to stuff the owl;
Crinkle paper, rattle insert (optionally).

Gauge:

8 single crochets = 1 inch

Finished size:

2,8x2 in (7x5 cm)
