This delicate lace scarf can be crocheted in any gauge yarn. The sample shown uses a luxurious alpaca/silk lace yarn crocheted doubled to make a scarf that is exquisitely soft and that drapes very well.

Although it has a ‘snowflake motif’ feel, this pattern is made with one continuous strand yarn, so there are only 2 ends to weave in.

Snowflake can be worn unblocked, but looks best at its blocked dimensions of 56” X 5 1/2”. It can easily be made longer or shorter, according to taste, but stays the same width.
