A reversible, soft and airy,
garter & eyelet stitch shawl.

Great with any kind of yarn,
especially hand spun wool!

This shawl is knit until your yarn is (almost) gone, starting at one point, the increases are made at the end of the right side rows, and all wrong side rows are knit with garter stitch, except for the very first and last three stitches and the double yarnovers. The eyelet pattern stays the same throughout the entire shawl, it only shifts over to the left or right by two places every fourth row.
It’s a fun knit, but not quite a mindless knit, as you do need to keep counting. (At least I did!)
The original name for this shawl was going to be Summer Skies Shawl, but as I finished it a thunderstorm was bearing down on us, giving me a new idea for the name.
I hope you enjoy this shawl
as much as I am!
