This is my ‘Rainbow Summer Wrap’ offering. I used a 4ply hand dyed yarn from Dexter’s Rainbow to create this gorgeous wrap. The skein was 400m but you could use any 4 ply yarn that will give you 400m. The pattern is written in UK terminology with photo’s and its the kind of pattern that you can make larger by doing more rows and make it into a shawl. The wrap itself can be worn as a traditional wrap, wrap around scarf like a RTS or even a sarong. There is no gauge for the garment because of its open pattern I found that no gauge was necessary. If you would like a larger wrap or turn it into a shawl you could use 2 skeins and use a hook 3.5mm or 4.5mm depending on how ‘open’ you would like the pattern to be.
