Summer’s Glory - Azure is part of a series of 4 Summer scarves. This is a simple pattern with a single repeat. There is a provisional cast on for adding an optional edging at the end. The top of the scarf has an edging also which is knitted on. There is a 4 stitch garter border on each side. These garter stitches are not shown on the chart. The pattern includes pattern notes (hints and tutorials) on how to read my patterns and to assist if there is difficulty with the edging.

There is no gauge for this project and any yarn can be used. The sample is made with lace weight mohair. Mohair works for this pattern because it is a simple geometric repeat and the mohair does not interfere with the pattern.

I used only about 2/3 of one skein of Aloft.
