Oh, the joys of thin yarn! Here, 3 strands of lace-weight wool are knit together throughout an oversized panel coat that is an ever-changing celebration of color. Each panel is constructed of two colors: it begins with 3 strands of A, changes to 2 A and 1 B, then 1 A and 2 B, finishing with 3 strands of B. The gradual shift allows each panel to move through changes in both hue and color weight. The panels are then arranged in a complex dance of color shadings. Contrasting colors selected from the palette outline each panel with an external 3-needle bind-off.
