The Sun Singer was inspired by the incredible and recently restored Sun Singer statue at Allerton park. With arms stretched to the heavens, the Sun Singer looks as if he is scooping up sunbeams and hugging the sky. Using mohair and fingering weight yarn, the Sun Singer shawl is lighter than air and wonderfully cozy. Featuring a combination of relaxing garter stitch and ethereal lace, the Sun Singer shawl was designed to be your sky hug.

This shawl is knit seamlessly from the upper right tip to the left edge. It is knit flat on the bias. This 3-color shawl requires 2 skeins of fingering weight yarn and 1 skein of lace weight mohair.
