FEATURED YARN
Zauberperlen® by Schoppel
100% Virgin Merino Wool, 440 yds 402m per 100g ring
(1 ring each color)
Color A: #2458
Color B: #2464

NOTES
The pattern begins with a foundation (chainless) single crochet and the beginning edge is completed before working the main body. The motif repeats create dramatic lace which pairs perfectly with a color-changing yarn.

This pattern was designed specifically for the hassle-free fade of Zauberperlen® by Schoppel, using two individual rings with overlapping colors—all minis were used, including the overlapping color (solid green in sample).

While the beginning/finishing mini color does not need to be reserved, it is advised to weigh the yarn that was used for the beginning edge to reserve enough yarn for the finishing color. For the sample, approximately 5 grams/20 yards were reserved for the finishing edge.

Work is done back and forth in rows.
