“So fun to knit, so comfortable to carry. Wonderful in textured or multicolor yarn. Bag size depends on yarn used.”

Gauge listed is for the recycled sari silk yarn featured. Other yarns are used with different size needles and multiple gauges. Yardage requirements vary depending on size of bag and yarn used. If you use the yarn doubled to get gauge, twice as much yarn will be required.

Description: These popular bags are knit in easy short rows. Fun for adventurous beginners. Bag size depends on yarn size. Large in Recycled Silk on US #8 (5 mm) needles, Medium in bulky green chenille on US #7 (4.5 mm) needles, and Medium in periwinkle Ironstone Island Cotton on US #10 (6 mm) needles – the yarn size makes the difference!

Yardage: Medium size requires 200 yds (bulky chenille) to 450 yds (Island Cotton), Large requires 375 yds (Recycled Silk). Use needles 2 sizes smaller than normal for your yarn. Yardage given is estimated - your mileage may vary.
