Our daughter likes to take long walks along Duke of Gloucester Street in the heart of historic Williamsburg, VA. We often dress her up to attend a play or eat lunch at a colonial tavern. I decided to make lacy tights that would be warm enough for a Virginia winter, yet look airy at the same time. I searched for a pattern, but could not find any that met my expectations, so I made my own warm, airy, and girly tights. They are just perfect for our Sunday strolls.

Unfortunately, KnitPicks discontinued their Risata yarn. Please use Patons Stretch Sock yarn or stretchy yarn with similar content as substitute.
