My Sunderland wrap is knit in one piece from point to point. Slight assymetrical shaping gives Sunderland a longer wing for easier wrapping. Because it is knit on the bias, Sunderland will softly drape around the neck and shoulders while staying in place. The garter stitch body and lace border are reversible, with no “wrong side”. This design can be worked in and weight yarn and the pattern includes suggested yardage and needle sizes for fingering, dk and worsted weight yarns.
