This delightful hat is an intermediate project for a crocheter with some experience. The rainbow colours would brighten up any summer’s outfit but pastels would work equally well. The brim of the hat is folded up and is trimmed with a flower crocheted in the same yarn, but you can leave the flower off if you prefer.

The pattern includes instructions to make a hat to fit size small (suitable for a baby/small toddler), medium (to suit a child) or large (to suit a teenager/lady).

The yarn used is firm but has enough “give” to accommodate a good range of sizes.
