Sunlight and water shawl begins with a few stitches and is knit on the bias into an asymmetrical triangle.

The design features a wide band of simple cables and lace and a stockinette body. The project is completed using a small sideways lace border which is easy, I promise!

The sizing is easily adjustable by varying the number of repeats worked of the main pattern.

Sample shown: 62 inches (158 cm) wide by 25 inches (64 cm) deep.

Yardage required for the size shown: approx. 500 m / 542 yards / 150 grams

Sample shown was knit using one skein (150 grams) of Wollmeise Blend in the colorway Zarte Knospe.

Check your yarn stash, any fingering or sport weight wool or wool/blend may be substituted.

The cable and lace panel is charted only.
