Triangular brioche stitch shawl starting from the lower tip of the triangle and worked up.

Two contrasting solid colours are best.

It has a leaf border and the main body of the shawl is worked in a seed stitch pattern.

I have included photo tutorials for the following techniques which are needed in this pattern:
Wrap cast on
Two colour brioche stitch with selvedge stitch
Four stitch brioche increase
Two stitch brioche increase

Brioche four stitch decrease

The pattern is available either written or charted with instructions supplied with both documents. If you buy the pattern you could of course download both written and charted copies.

Gauge: 18 stitches and 13 rows in two colour brioche stitch pattern measure 10x10 cm (4”x4”).
Needle size: 3.75 mm (US size 5) circular needle
Yarn: Baa ram ewe Titus (320m/100g) (350 yds/100g) approximately 350 m or 400 yds of each of two colours although I give instructions for ending one repeat earlier in which case one skein each of two colours should be sufficient. For sock wool with 400 m/100g needle size 3.5 mm could be used.
Stitch markers and/or cable needle
