After knitting a lot of beanies I decided to change it up and knit a beret for babies. The decreases make a cool variegated effect on the top of the hat. Of course, your baby needs some sandals to go along with their new hat. Small and elastic, they stay on baby’s feet and are a nice change from socks. I just love Cascade Fixation yarn for baby items. The 100% cotton is soft to the feel and is all natural against baby’s skin. The elastic helps with the sizing and fit for baby.
