The Sunny hair band is a small knitting project that’s very suitable for typical summer yarn, and a very wearable accessories for the summer season.

This pattern includes a description of the hair band itself with icords for tying at the neck, and 3 options for decoration. I have chosen to decorate this hair band with duplicate stitches in a different color, with small beads or small, embroidered flowers. If you want it to be narrower in width, one of the short rows in each part can be eliminated, if you want it to be smaller in the middle, cast on fewer stitches.

I chose to include an alternative solution for fastening at the neck where I used a hair tie. If this hair band is knitted in a typical summer yarn, the work itself will not have any flexibility, and in order for it to sit well on the head it must either be tied tightly or have a solution at the neck with flexibility.
