Design Inspiration This shawl is a big and tender hug. The simple garter and tuck stitch pattern resembles the sunrays
and spread the warmth over your shoulders.
Song Sunray, The Jesus and Mary Chain
Construction The shawl is worked top down, starting at the center. It begins with a few stitches and gradually
expands until all the yarn is used up. The shawl is worked for a few rows in seed stitch and then goes over into garter
stitch with tucked stitches in between. This creates a pattern that folds in itself like a leporello.
